Deirdre Keohane
Born of Irish parents in Uranium City, Saskatchewan, Canada. Deirdre graduated from David Thompson University in Nelson, B.C. As well as Fine Art Painting, her work includes over 10 years experience Illustrating with McGill University in Montreal and 5 years Animating with the National Film Board of Canada. Returning to Ireland, she established an Art School in Castletownbere, Co. Cork and has been involved in many Community Art projects from Beara to Belarus. She lives and works in Clonakilty.
